This work was developed during my BA (Hons) in Craft & Material Practices at Arts University Plymouth, a period marked by material exploration and conceptual growth. Each piece reflects an evolving dialogue between process, form, and the natural elements integral to my practice.
Included in this body of work is 'None of their Beeswax', a large-scale, site-specific installation at Mount Edgcumbe, Cornwall, constructed from reclaimed beehive frames, exploring themes of ecology and place.
'Pathways' is an intimate investigation of the relationship between body and space, featuring wearable work designed to interact physically with the human form. Drawing inspiration from the discipline and poetics of ballet, this piece explores movement, balance, and the tension between control and fluidity.
In 'Demise', I examine the cycles of construction and deconstruction, using form and fragmentation to reflect on impermanence.
'Unmade Bed' presents a series of conceptual porcelain sculptures that respond to experiences of insomnia—capturing moments of restlessness and vulnerability through fragile, folded forms.
